The biggest importer of Nonferrous Metals & Industrial Raw Material
to India: MMTC is the largest seller of imported nonferrous metals like
copper, aluminium, zinc, lead, tin and nickel. It also sells imported minor
metals like magnesium, antimony, silicon and mercury, as also industrial raw
materials like asbestos steel products and pig iron.
SANCHI brand Silverware: MMTC's brand of sterling silverware (92.5%)
is called Sanchi,. MMTC is the only company who is having in-house facility
of both manufacturing and assaying of gold and silver medallions.
Leading Indian exporter and importer of agro products: MMTC is amongst
the leading Indian exporters and importers of agro products. The company's
bulk exports include commodities such as rice, wheat, what flour, soyameal,
pulses, sugar and edible oil.
Top-rank importer of Non-coking (steam) coal: It is also a leading
importer of non-coking (steam) coal, low ash metallurgical coke, superior
kerosene oil (SKO), Naphtha, Bitumen etc. Some of the products that MMTC plans
to add to its profile are furnace oil and coking coal. MMTC has long term
supply arrangements with state electricity boards and power utility companies.
